Making and fighting these cute little guys kept us entertained one evening. We even uploaded it as an Instructable in the hopes of winning an Eggbot.
The robot steeds are Herbie the Mousebots from Solarbotics. They are really zippy little BEAM photovores (or light following robots) that are a very elegant design and fun to solder together. By the time we finished it was very late so I’m afraid the first battle proved to be upsetting for the junior members of the family.
